He flew this ‘Male Call’ B-24 during his service in the war and the plane completed 95 bombing missions for the 453rd Bombardment Group and one of the few B-24s left intact by the end of the war for the group. The Consolidated B-24 Liberator was the most produced heavy bomber and served in every branch of the US military and were active in all theaters of the war.
