The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk, was essential in battles through the Pacific Theater, North Africa and China during WWII. Serving in many operations, staying low, the Warhawk was a machine to be reckoned with, keeping its power and manueverability, utilizing its strengths in missions when faced against the enemy, even in harsh conditions. Although not considered the best plane out in the skies, even in dogfights, diving out of the way was essential against some of the stronger enemy aircrafts and still rendered beneficial to the Allies. Serving in roles against bombers and as a bomber escort, the Tomahawk saw much success in these supportive roles.
