Steel Wheels’ is the 19th British and 21st American studio album by English rock band the Rolling Stones, released on August 29, 1989. Considered a major comeback on it’s release, the album marked a return to a more classic style of music. It would be long-time bassist Bill Wyman’s final full-length studio album with the band. Featuring the hit singles ‘Mixed Emotions’ and ‘Rock and a Hard Place’ the album reached number two in the UK album chart and number three on the US Billboard. ‘Steel Wheels’ would go on to achieve multi-platinum status in the United States. In 2000 the album was listed 568 in the Colin Larkin book All Time Top 1000 Albums. The album artwork is now available as a 500 piece jigsaw puzzle printed on high quality board.
